ABOUT ME
I was not trained in the fine arts.
I did not receive a degree in industrial design.
I don’t come from a long line of designers or craftsmen.
Even though I dont remember a time in my life when I was never interested in design, 2013 was when my journey as a craftsman began.
The short version goes:
I Moved to South Africa, got an opportunity to work under the shadow of a fine craftsman.
With his guidance, I learnt some tricks of the trade, built a few things on my own, found that I was decent at it and really enjoyed it.
Moved to a new place,turned the garage into a workshop, built a few more things.
Started a business, sold some pieces for over a year, became tired of building the same pieces over and over, felt my skills were stagnating, focused more on custom work instead...
...and here we are.
